Melissa Iaquilino’s introduced her spring line to me last weekend so I must share with you. I asked her to tell us about her latest designs and inspiration, here’s what she had to say:
Summer is around the corner and wedding season has already kicked off! Redkin Stylist Giovanni Giuntoli worked behind the scene’s at three major shows for Bridal Fashion Week. He took the classic twist, knots and chignon’s then tweaked them with a little modern flare giving them height, texture and accessories! Now you won’t ever have to look back at your pictures and have any regrets. Check out the three simple yet memorable bridal trends for 2010 🙂
The French Pleat
The Swirled Open Chignon
The Accessorized Up Do
BRIDES: Let me know what you think……I <3 them.
Bare faced that is. In honor of the new reality TV show “The Price of Beauty” on VH1 J. Simpson embraced her natural beauty and posed for May’s issue of Marie Claire with zero make up on (brave soul). I expected this to be much worse to be honest, but having a hairstylist as a BFF helps! Kudos Ken Paves, you make raw beauty rock! Jessica, claims to have learned a lot from filming the show. It has taught her to love her true self after much publicized scrutiny of weight gain, etc. I actually am not a fan, but confession: I wathced the show and I actually like it…..Props to J.S. for her courage and growth as a woman!
Haircolor! According to InStyle mag these are the three leading ladies running the color game in Hollywood. Covering all bases from honey brown tones to copper apple reds and icy blonds Jennifer Lopez, Amy Adams and Reese Witherspoon have the most sought after color. I gave up trying to mimic JLo’s luscious hair. we just don’t have the same skin tone and my face will never look like hers, but I still love staring at her.
